Bridal Style
The perfect venue was scouted, and now it needed to showcase the perfect wedding dress. The only requirement was structure. Lindsay Stockhecke, owner of wedding event styling business Deliciously Ordinary, had a vision of clean lines with minimal detail. Mr. Tuxedo and Bridal in Carterville did not disappoint. After trying on many stunning styles, the ideal dress was discovered. It featured a sweetheart neckline. flattering peplum detail, and cascading ruffle train with lace-up back. A classic silhouette that turns everyday women into vintage Hollywood stars.

Hair + Makeup
Katie Lirely, owner of Fringe the Salon, transformed our model Jennifer Rich into a living, breathing work of art. Once the dress was selected, inspiration hit for the dream hairstyle. Her vision was a textured but structured twist/chignon that would complement the dress.

For makeup, Katie embraced a more soft and classic look. She recently started representing Mirabella Beauty as an educator, and was excited to use their full line of products.
“The Mirabella HD foundation and setting spray are game changers for wedding and event makeup. I used a soft palette with shades of pinks on our stunning model.”

Bouquet + Decor
When choosing the floral design for this shoot, Lindsay ( Deliciously Ordinary event stylist and floral designer) spent a lot of time thinking about the event space. The gallery has gorgeous lighting with bright, clean lines. It also has industrial elements that offer a modern urban vibe.

Lindsay knew immediately that she wanted to eliminate greenery, which is a common element in wedding florals. Sticking with a vibrant palette, the vision was to keep the decor light and airy. She achieved this goal using a combination of bleached ruscus, dried palm fronds, painted eucalyptus, tulips, ranunculus, roses, and spray roses.

“I wanted to complement the space rather than compete with it, which was why I chose the floor altar. It allowed for that marriage of the space with the florals as opposed to one overshadowing the other.”

Desserts
Cristaudo’s Bakery added a sweet touch with their iconic pink iced sugar cookies. These classic treats are another blank canvas all on their own. Personalize with specific wedding colors, monograms and more. They are also perfectly paired with Cristaudo’s bite-sized heart cakes.
